PURPOSE:To easily mount a sheet between a belt and an original by providing the white sheet in the platen cover through an automatic take-up device. CONSTITUTION:The take-up device 5 is provided closely to one end part of the platen belt 4 provided in the platen cover 3 and a lock part 12 is provided nearby the other end part of the belt 4. The take-up device 5 has both end parts of a shaft supported through bearings 7 and 7 on frames 6 and 6 formed projecting from the platen cover 3. Then, the shaft 7 is rotated by a spring motor 13, which is wound when the sheet 10 is drawn out to wind the sheet in with its force. A member 11 for locking a rod, etc., is fitted to the front end part of the sheet 10 and the member 11 is locked to a lock part 12 when the sheet 10 is drawn out of the take-up device 5 to cover the reverse surface of the belt 4, the sheet is fixed.
