PURPOSE:To allow home station to transmit data without changing originating stations and terminating stations even when the other party station changes originating stations and terminating stations by permitting one of two stations to operate in terminating station mode firstly and then wait for a selection from the other party station for a specific time, and then recognize whether it is an originating or terminating station. CONSTITUTION:A station A accepts an interruption from a timer 10 seconds later without receiving a selection from a station B and is switched from a terminating station mode to an originating station mode to send a selection to the station B and request the establishment of a data link, waiting for an acknowledgement from the station B. The station B receives a selection from the station A and sends out an acknowledgement for the selection to the station A. When receiving the acknowledgement from the station B, the station A recognizes that it is an originating station. |
