A power distribution insert for racks in telecommunications operating sites, having automatic circuit breakers which can be arranged in a row side-by-side. Plug bases are mounted side-by-side in the distribution insert, which plug bases carry on their underneath connecting devices for connection to the supplying leads. An intermediate base having laterally arranged connecting devices is inserted into this plug base, said intermediate base carrying the plug-in automatic circuit breakers. Latching hooks are articulated laterally on the intermediate base, the arms of which latching hooks can be latched against projections on the plug base.
