PURPOSE:To perform attachment to and detachment from a part to be fitted so that a color change, etc., are made easily by releasing the locking operation of a lock means which fixed a developing device to the part to be fitted associatively with the displacing operation of a grip. CONSTITUTION:The 1st developing unit 52 which contains a color developer 56a is a cartridge type attachable to and detachable from the fitted part 1a of a main device body 1, and easily detached by being lifted while the grip 155 consisting of a handle is raised. When the grip 155 is raised, a hook 158 disengages from a lock pin 159 and when the grip 155 is fallen down in a nearly horizontal state, the hook 158 engages the lock pin 159; when the grip is further pressed down below the horizontal position, the hook 158 engages the lock pin 159 securely so that the developing unit 52 is pressed down. For the purpose, the grip 155 is raised and then fallen down after the 1st developing unit 52 is inserted, thereby fixing the 1st developing unit 52 extremely easily. |
