PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing efficiency of a transmission line by providing a delimiter representing the end of a packet and a delimiter representing the opened transmission right as an end delimiter of each packet. CONSTITUTION:An access control section 15 of a transmission interface section designates the transmission of a signal PR to a preamble transmission section 16 before a packet is transmitted and transmits the signal PR via a switch 11-1. Then the control section 15 connects the switch 11-1 to a transmission register 17 so as to transmit a packet. In this transmission, the signal is transmitted in the order of a start delimiter SD signal frame SF and an end delimiter IED or LED. In such a case, the control section gives a command to a selector 18 so as to add the delimiter LED to the final packet to be transmitted and the delimiter IED to other packet. Thus, just after other node station detects the said delimiter LED, the transmission right is acquired when no signal PR is detected. Then the rate of the signal RP is low and the utilizing efficiency of the transmission line is improved. |
