PURPOSE:To improve fidelity of a signal pickup device by specifying resonance frequency of a cantilever to which a reproducing stylus is attached at the tip and thereby enabling correction by controlling action sufficiently. CONSTITUTION:Resonance frequency of the cantilever of the pickup device to which a reproducing stylus is attached at the tip is selected to nearly coincide with basic frequency or higher order high frequency of a disk information recording medium. By this coincidence, gain in a servo circuit can be made large, residual error at conformed frequency is decreased remarkably, and correction of distortion at conformed frequency is made sufficiently. Thus, fidelity of the signal pickup device can be improved. |
