The invention relates to the high-pressure part, designed as a compact installation, of an absorption heat pump, the arrangement of the individual assemblies in a lying hollow cylinder as well as the special design of the temperature changer and its assignment to the rectifier, for reducing the installation and production expenditure under the condition of non-adiabatic, differential rectification. According to the invention, there is arranged between the expeller, which is accommodated over the entire width of the cross-section of the hollow cylinder, and condenser a rectification column, over the height of which heat transfer discs are provided which run in a coiled shape between the side walls of the rectifier and the cylinder casing.
