This bearing and drive element, which can be used in particular as a running roller, consists of a bearing (10) (roller bearing or slide bearing) and a tread element (26) which is formed directly onto the outer ring of the bearing and is made of plastic. When a roller bearing is used, its end faces are sealed with sealing rings (18, 20), around whose edges the tread element (26) also engages. As a result of the bearing outer ring and the sealing rings being surrounded, a secure cohesion of the two constructional parts is produced. In order to fill the device with lubricant and for subsequent lubrication, bores (28) which lie diametrically opposite one another are preferably arranged in the sealing rings in a roller bearing. By means of the direct attachment of the tread body (26) on the bearing (10), an intermediate hub, as in the case of conventional running rollers, can be dispensed with. <IMAGE>
