The invention relates to a wheel for bicycles or engine-driven vehicles having two or more wheels and an attachment device for such a wheel on a driven full floating axle, the wheel consisting of a rim and a plurality of spokes, each spoke being continuous on the hub side with a circular segment and the circular segments leaving a gap between them which is closed in the tensioned state; and the circular segments have on the outside on both sides conical faces which correspond to internal conical faces of two tensioning elements which cooperate with a sleeve which is seated on the full floating axle, a small air gap remaining between the sleeve and the circular segments. At the same time, the first tensioning element 5 is integral with the sleeve 8 and the second tensioning element 5' can be axially clamped against the first tensioning element 5 in order to apply a radial tensile force via the conical faces 4, 6 on the spokes 1 in the direction of the full floating axle via the circular segments 2. <IMAGE>
