PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency, by a method wherein a titled device for a granular material is constituted such that a funnel with a lateral projecting upper part is located to the middle part of the casing of a lateral feed chain conveyor, the granular material is fed between the side walls of a chain cover and the upper and the lower piece of a chain. CONSTITUTION:A granular material in a funnel 6 with a lateral projecting upper part flows through flow-down passages 11, and flows in a body 5 through feed ports 12 formed between the upper and the lower piece of a convey chain (b), and is accumulated on a bottom plate. The granular material is moved backward on the bottom plate of a casing 1 with the aid of the lower piece of the convey chain (b). This constitution facilitates a work and enables improvement of working efficiency. |
