PURPOSE:To supply approximately uniformly fine foam in the deep direction of liquid by forming an air supply part into a tapered cylindrical body and supplying air by a centrifugal method. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal type aerator is formed with many small holes 13 in a part 1 to be dipped into a liquid surface having a closed end and is tapered in the deep direction of liquid. A part 25 projecting from the liquid surface is made of the cylindrical body having apertures 26 for ventilation. Then buoyancy of foam is decreased, the amt. of the foam to be penetrated into the liquid is increased and the amt. to dissipate by floating on the liquid surface is decreased, by which the effective rate with respect to the supply rate and energy efficiency are improved.
