NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (R is alkyl; n is a positive integer; A is H or alkyl; X, Y and Z are H, halogen or alkyl, etc.). EXAMPLE:N-(p-Bromophenylmethylidene)-gamma-aminopropyltriethylgermanium. USE:A carcinostatic agent. PREPARATION:For example, an amino alkyl(trialkyl)germanium compound of formula II, e.g. gamma-aminopropyltriethylgermanium, is condensed with a substituted benzaldehyde of formula III, e.g. p-bromobenzaldehyde, in a solvent, e.g. benzene, through dehydration.
