PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which prevents the hiding of the color of an under layer owing to the aggregation of a rhodamine magenta toner and improves the color reproducibility of an original by using a dry type magenta toner contg. a rhodamine pigment and the metallic salt of an org. carboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:The toner contg. 0.5-20pts.wt. rhodamine pigment by 100pts.wt. binder resin and 1-200pts.wt. Zn salt of the org. carboxylic acid such as preferably stearic acid or diabietic acid by 100pts.wt. said pigment is pred. The decrease of the transparency of the toner by the secondary aggregate of the rhodamine pigment and the consequent hiding of the color of the under layer are prevented by adding the Zn salt of the org. carboxylic acid to the toner, by which the deterioration of the color reproducibility is prevented. The staining of the carrier surface and the spoiling of the electrostatic chargeability of a developer as a result of the liberation of the rhodamine pigment from the surface layer are prevented. |
