<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of changing a jig plate for a change in external form of an article to be worked by positioning the article to be worked by means of an adsorption device such as an electromagnet, a vacuum cup and the like. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 4 is expanded and contracted by an air cylinder built-in a base 3 to elevate a rotary actuator 6, thereby to decide the height of a shaft 8. When air is supplied to core cylinders 9a, 9b from a common air circuit to simultaneously contract and expand piston rods 10a, 10b, the forward ends of which are fixed to the shaft 8, jig plates 12a, 12b fixed to clamping pieces 11a, 11b clamp an article to be worked, which is placed on the jig plate 12a by a feed bar 1. After that, the shaft 8 is turned in a 180 deg. arc by the actuator 6 to reverse the article to be worked between the jig plates 12a, 12b. The surfaces of the jig plates 12a, 12b that contact the article to be worked are positioned by adsorption force of electromagnets 13a, 13b, and the timing of excitation and demagnetization is determined by operation of the feed bar and the position relationship of the jig plates before and after reversing.</p> |
