PURPOSE:To obtain a lamp having a high luminous efficiency and adequate color temperature characteristic without lowering of mechanical strength of luminous tube by winding a light transmissive ceramics fiber around the external surface of luminous part of luminous tube, spraying metal phosphate to the surface thereof and then heating the surface. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics fiber 5 is wound around the external surface of luminous part of luminous tube 1. In this case, when the ceramics fiber 5 is immersed previously into an organic solvent such as freon or water, it can be treated easily because the shape after winding becomes constant. Thereafter, a mixed solution of metal phosphate and solvent, for example, a suspension obtained by mixing aluminium phosphorus acid into water is sprayed to the surface of ceramics fiber wound around a liminous tube 1. Finally, when the surface of ceramics fiber 5 is heated with a burner 7, etc., a bridging structure is formed at the surface of ceramics fiber 5 by reaction of metal phosphate and ceramics and thereby the ceramics fiber 5 is firmly held by the surface of luminous tube 1. |
