PURPOSE:To form a uniform coat film on the surface of a conductive drum by allowing a uniform air stream to flow along the circumference of the drum while the drum immersed in a coating fluid contg. a photoconductor is pulled up from the fluid level. CONSTITUTION:The coating fluid is contained in a tank 1, the drum immersed in this fluid is pulled up from the fluid, and at the same time, the air is delivered from a blower 2 through a valve 3 and a pipe 4 to an air flow regulator 5 formed in a circular ring. Its middle hollow part 6 is connected to the inside of the tank 1 and the inside wall 7 of the ring 9 is provided with uniform small holes 8. The air is delivered from the pipe 4 to the inside 9 of the ring tightly closed except the holes 8 and allowed to flow through the holes 9 uniformly toward the coated surface of the drum, and this air is exhausted out of the upper part of the hollow part 6. |
