<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate provision of water-stop structure around a gap between the lower section of sidewall and a water-stop wall by constructing the sidewall of tank body while separating from the water-stop wall of an underground tank thereby enabling discharge of subterranean water from a space between the sidewall and the water-stop wall. CONSTITUTION:A tank body 13 constructed with a sidewall 12 and a bottom plate 14 is arranged while surrounded with water-stop wall 11 and separating the sidewall 12 from the water-stop wall 11. The space between the sidewall 12 and the water-stop wall 11 is temporarily excavated to remove subterranean water then the sidewall 12 is constructed and backfilled. Since there is no subterranean water in the space between the water-stop wall 11 and the sidewall 12 irrespective of removal of hydraulic pressure from the lower section of the bottom plate 14, sand or water will never flow through a gap 17 between the sidewall 12 and the water-stop wall 11 into the bottom.</p> |
