PURPOSE:To make sufficient power usable for both car's internal and external applications and a feeling of attendance on the scene securable as well, by making a speaker setting surface keep to both parallel and vertical positions with a roof panel in a state of being housed inside the cabinet roof panel. CONSTITUTION:An automobile A is mounted with a speaker unit, while its roof is higher than any other conventional automobile and of a high-roof type hatch back car having a door D in the rear surface of a car body too. A speaker unit 1 is attached to the inside of a car room at the rear of a roof panel R in this automobile A along an inner surface of the roof panel R. This speaker unit 1 is attached to the car body free of rotation at the rearward side of the car body, and at a first position, it is locked to the car body by means of a lock mechanism at the front side of the car body while at a second position, a speaker setting surface becomes vertical with the roof panel, and a speaker is made so as to be directed to the body rearward in design.
