PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of vertical actions of a picture on a monitor by introducing a signal immediately after a head switching position from a vertical synchronizing signal of a reproduction video signal as a tape V signal and estimating a tape V position of the subsequent field. CONSTITUTION:A head SW signal added to a terminal 29 is positioned in a vertical blanking period ahead of a recorded vertical synchronizing signal, and a monostable multivibrator M.M31 are operated based on said signal, thereby working as a gate signal of a gate circuit 32. On the other hand, a V estimation circuit 34 counts clocks with frequency twice a horizontal synchronizing signal, outputs an estimation V signal and supplies it to a V signal competition circuit 35. Then, if a tape V signal being an output of the gate circuit 32 is omitted, the estimation V signal is outputted from the competition circuit 35. Since the value counted by the V estimation circuit 34 is altered by a jump signal showing reproduction track jumping information, the vertical synchronizing signal coincident with the reproduction video signal can be stably extracted at the slow-motion reproduction, etc. |
