PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality laminated glass having high sealing properties inexpensively without using a spacer and an adhesive, by bending previously opposing end parts of two glass plates kept at a given interval under heating, followed by heating, welding, and molding them so that they are integrated. CONSTITUTION:The two glass plates G are adsorbed on the center of the adsorbing plates 4 and set, and they are kept at a given interval by a glass supporting device. The temperature in the furnace 1 is raised, the glass plates G are preheated, partially heated from both the sides by the horizontal burner 9b, further heated by the vertical burner 9f, welded and molded by the molding jig 9h for end faces, and integrated. The whole end faces are molded in this way. In order to deal with an extent of distance between the adsorbing plates 4 caused by shrinkage of the rotary shaft 2 during annealing, a vacuum system related to one of the adsorbing plates 4 is closed, and the integrated laminated glass is adsorbed and kept only by the other adsorbing plate 4. The electric furnace 1 is gradually cooled, the laminated glass is taken out, to give laminated glass with small remaining strain and warpage.
