<p>The rod-shaped antenna elements in a group define a reference plane for a level or sight line, and cooperate with a signal processing circuit for indicating the impingement angle between the sight line and the projection of a line through the antenna group and radiation source on the reference plane. The group contains two pairs (1, 2; 3, 4) of antenna elements symmetrically converging forward on opposite sides of the reference plane (5). The individual elements of each pair also converge in symmetry with the sight line (6), the first pair elements converging under a smaller angle than the other ones. Signal processing circuit contains a difference signal generator whose output signal is a function of the angle of incidence (V) and the mean phase distance of the first pair antenna elements. Similar signal generator is provided for the second element pair.</p> |
