<p>The bottle orientation installation which forms part of a large bottle handling system, has a bottle supply device to move the bottles in a predetermined configuration along a track. An orientation sensing device checks on a predetermined characteristic of each bottle which indicates the orientation during the bottle movement along the track. A bottle turning station is arranged along the set path. A bottle turning device operates against the neck of each bottle when the bottle passes the bottle turning station. In addition to the above there is gatting device positioned at the bottle turning station permitting the turning of a bottle when a set configuration has been attained. Also a control switch device actuates the gating device depending on signals received from the orientation sensing device and determines whether a bottle should be turned round the preset turning axis.</p> |
