<p>PURPOSE:To obtain ink suitable for ink jet use without applying extra shear or agitating force thus leading to no air entrainment, by making the materials flow down in their transfer between successive processes with gradient in the preparation. CONSTITUTION:Each raw material 6a-6c is made to flow down by opening valves V1-V3, taking advantage of the gradient between material preparation process 1 and formulating agitation process 2, to transfer it to formulating agitation tank 9. After a specified mixing in said tank 9, valve V4 is made to open to feed ink 8 into filter 11, with a head pressure based on the gradient between the process 2 and filter process 3. The ink 8' thus filtered is then made to flow down through transfer pipe 7e to storage tank 12, being stored therein until shipment.</p> |
