PURPOSE:To reduce the scattering of a developer by making at least the most downstream developing rollers large in diameter than any other developing roller and also making its peripheral speed equal to or lower than that of any other one. CONSTITUTION:A brush type developer scatter preventing member 13 is provided at the upstream side of a sleeve 3 in the rotating direction of a photosensitive body 6, and this member 13 prevents toner from scattering due to the motion of the developer. Further, a recovery sleeve 14 is provided at the downstream side of a sleeve 5 and this sleeve 14 recovers magnetic carriers sticking on the photosensitive body 6. Then, the most downstream sleeve 5 among sleeves 3, 4, and 5 which attract and carry simultaneously the two-component developer 8 consisting of magnetic carriers and toner through the operation of an internal magnet 7 is made larger in diameter than any other sleeve and the sleeves 3, 4, and 5 are equalized in peripheral speed. |
