PURPOSE:To dispense with a polarity selector circuit as well as to make reliability improvable ever so better, by making the rotational direction of a motor selectable according to the operating direction of an optical axis select switch, while making up field winding for c.w. or c.c.w. rotation of the motor into separate constitution. CONSTITUTION:When an optical axis of headlights turns upward as load is added to a rear part of the car and thereby a select switch 6 is selected, for example, from zero to one according to a degree of the load, a power source is fed to field winding for co.w. rotation os symmetrical motors 3 and 9 via reverse current preventing diodes 2 and 8 and switches D and D' whereby the optical axis varies downward. And, each rotating disc of optical axis detection switches 1 and 7 rotates, and when the position of 1 reaches to the previous position of 0, these switches D and D' come to OFF so that motors 3 and 9 come to a stop. In this connection, when the optical axis is raised up, the power source is fed to the field winding for c.c.w. rotation of these motors 3 and 9 likewise with the reverse operation of the select switch 6. Thus, polarity selection becomes simple enough, and a possibility of suffering from influence of temperature and secular changes is well reduced. |
