PURPOSE:To cut out automatically a character, etc. by reading optically a character or a picture pattern which has been laid out, extracting its profile, storing it as a digital signal in a memory, and moving a cutter edge by reading out this data. CONSTITUTION:A character (a) or a picture pattern extracted to an object to be transferred A is read optically and its profile is extracted and stored in an input unit 1. Subsequently, an output unit 2 reads out said stored information (digital), controls a head part 5 to which a cutter edge 4 has been installed, and the character (a) or the picture pattern is cut out automatically along the profile. In this way, even a person who is not an expert can cut out exactly the character or the picture pattern. |
