PURPOSE:To aim at preventing a hinge structure of an air-distribution door for an automobile from having backlash, and at enhancing the sealing ability thereof, by making the shaft part of a hinge lever hollow and by forming axial slits therein to be enlarged in a bearing hole in a unit casing to be made in resilient contact therewith. CONSTITUTION:A hollow part 7 is formed in the shaft part 3a of a hinge lever 3 from one end face to the intermediate section thereof, and a plurality of axially extending slits 8 are formed in the section of the shaft part 3a corresponding to a bearing hole 4a. Further, the shaft part 3a has such an outer diameter that, when the shaft part 3a of the hinge lever 3 is inserted into the bearing hole 4a, it is resiliently made into contact with the inner surface of the hole 4a due to resilent contraction and expansion of the shaft part 3a, and is therefore made in close contact with the bearing hole 4a. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent the hinge from having backlash and to enhance the sealing ability thereof so that smooth rotation may be obtained. |
