摘要

PURPOSE:To realize the excellent heat transfer to the drum of an heat exchanger and contrive to absorb the heat to a drum pipe and at the same time give allowance to the pitch of a fin and consequently improve the combustion characteristics by a structure wherein a fin having slit parts or opening parts is provided on the inner surface of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Fins 7 are attached on the inner surface of a heat exchanger drum 4 along the position aligning to a drum pipe 5 in a gas-fired hot water supplying space heater or the like. High temperature combustion gases 9 rising from the combustion flames 8 of a burner 1 contact with the heat exchanger drum 4 and escape to upper fins 6 and a finned pipe 10. The heat of the combustion gases 9 is absorbed in the course of the escape by the fins 7 contacting with the inner surface of the heat exchanger drum 4. The fins 7 are provided with a plurality of slit parts 11 or opening parts, which absorb the expansion and contraction of the fins 7 developed by the abrupt temperature change due to the ON-OFF action of combustion, resulting in absorbing and transferring the heat to the drum 4 without the coming-off of the fins 7 and production of sound.
