PURPOSE:To execute the continuous picture recording in real time by generating a horizontal synchronizing signal, which is used as a reference of the action timing of an entire system, based on a reference clock for driving a printer. CONSTITUTION:A PLL circuit 8 for generating a recording/reproducing reference clock integer-multiplies a reference clock for driving a scanner motor of a printer 5 into the 64-fold frequency by using a signal of 1/32 divided frequency as a reference input, divides its oscillation output by 1/2 and outputs it as a reference clock 12 for recording and reproducing. In terms of an optical disk device 3, the recording/reproducing reference clock is frequency-divided by 1/5,530, and a horizontal synchronizing signal 10 is formed. Thus, since a clock signal 14 to be referred by the horizontal synchronizing signal 10 and a horizontal synchronizing signal 13 from the printer 5 is common, a delay in terms of frequency will not be produced, and the continuous picture recording can be possible in real time.
