PURPOSE:To hold a wedge plate securely by providing a rotation preventing means for a pressure ring between the pressure ring and a housing. CONSTITUTION:The wedge plate 1 is fitted in the housing 2 and the section of the pressure ring 4 is wedgelike having a vertical angle equal to that of the wedge plate 1. Then, a pressure screw 5 engages with the housing 2 threadedly to press the wedge plate 1 through the pressure ring 4. When the wedge plate 1 and pressure ring 4 are matched while the wedge direction is made opposite, the surface of the wedge contacting the housing 2 and the surface of the pressure ring 4 contacting the pressure screw become parallel to each other. The pressure screw 15 is turned up in this state, and then the pressure ring 4 and pressure screw 5 come into surface contact with each other to press the wedge plate 1 uniformly through the pressure ring, so there is no strain generated. |
