PURPOSE:To prevent any defective electric conduction due to contact between wires etc. from happening by means of shortening the length of bonding wires by a method wherein ends of inner leads as wiring parts of short leads are extended beyond the ends of opposing side of adjoining short leads. CONSTITUTION:A lead frame is mainly composed of a frame 1, tub-hanging leads 2 connecting the frame 1 and dams 3 to be formed of a tub 4 fixed to the ends of tub-hanging leads 2 with the central parts thereof supported by the dams 3 and leads 5 extended from the frame 1 to the tub 4. Then the ends 6a of short leads 6 extended toward tub side are formed by extending beyond the ends opposing side of adjoining short leads 7. Through these procedures, the distance between bonding pads of pellet to be loaded and the ends 6a of short leads may be shortened to shorten the length of wires required for electric connection. |
