Novel method for preparing a skin graft produced from unprogrammed native connective tissue impregnated with Wharton's jelly and kept at the freezing point. The invention is characterised by a device which grasps the tissue of an umbilical cord, expands it and turns it by means of a cannula injecting compressed air 5; this cord is then cut, flattened, stretched and made into a fillet by means of a small mill whose rollers are grooved. The present invention is usable in dermatological surgery. <IMAGE>
