PURPOSE:To make large-scale and high-density cell culture possible, by attaching a disklike member having partially a filter zone into which a cell solution will permeate but not a cell to a conduit to take out the culture solution out of the device in such a way that the disklike member and the conduit rotate on the same shaft. CONSTITUTION:In the cell culture tank 1 of suspension type, the culture tank 1 is provided with the rotary filter 7 wherein at least one disklike member 5 having at least partially a filter zone into which a cell solution will permeate but not a cell is attached to the conduit 4' to take out the culture solution out of the device in uch a way tht the disklike member and the conduit 4' rotate on the same shaft. In this cell culture of suspension type, since the culture solution can be continuously fed, an effect matter, metabolic product, growth inhibitory substance can be continuously removed, and mesh of filter is not clogged, a large amount of high-density cell can be cultivated for a long period. |
