<p>PURPOSE:To provide automatic cassette loading, in which only insertion is required of the operator, by incorporating such a construction that a sheet receipt plate rises up to a feed roller when a cassette is loaded to be sensed by a probe, and that rise of a locking pawl locks the cassette surely. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette C is, upon preparation for loading, placed on a table 31 and inserted, the cassette does not contact a probe 36 owing to a cut in the cassette front wall 6000 and proceeds further, and then its slope part 6010 contacts a boss 36 to move it down. When the contact of these two members develops, the boss 36 turns an actuator lever counterclockwise to disengage the detent face of a cam lever from the folding 4900 of a detent member, which allows the lever to rapidly fall down in the clockwise direction to come back to its initial position. At the same time a pressure contact plate 34 raises a sheets receipt plate 61 to permit the uppermost transcript sheet to come into contact with a feed roller 15. If the cassette C advances further and its front wall 6000 contacts the rising part 3101 of the above-mentioned table 31, a locking pawl 48 will rise to cause detention of a step 4803, and thus cassette loading is completed.</p> |
