PURPOSE:To prevent the growth of a resin-rich part in the corner of a molding and improve its strength by cutting continuous filament in zigzag fashion and improving the flexibility of reinforcing fiber to a mold. CONSTITUTION:Composite resin sheet 12 consisting of continuous filament 2 mixed with heat-curing resin 11 passes through a press cutter mechanism 14 with plural cutters 13 arranged in zigzag form, and continuous filament 2 is slitted in zigzag way 15. If the resin is formed into a molding with a corner 20, 21 by heat press top force and bottom force 19, 19, reinforcing fiber 18 flexes easily along a curve. In addition, the lop-sided distribution of fiber does not occur during mold clamping on account of the slit 15, and no resin-rich part grows in the corners 20, 21. Thus the strength of the corners 20, 21 is improved. |
