摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease change in the lapse of time and to simplify construction by forming the sensor working cell of a solid electrolyte having gas permeability and oxygen ion conductivity of a pump working cell and the 3rd and 4th electrodes and controlling the inflow rate of the gaseous oxygen to the 3rd electrode thereby. CONSTITUTION:The pump working cell is formed of the solid electrolyte 24 having gas permeability and oxygen ion conductivity on top of a diaphragm layer 23 in which a heating element 22 is embedded, the 1st electrode 25 between said electrolyte and the layer 23 and the 2nd electrode 26 in the electrolyte 24. The sensor working cell is formed of the electrolyte 24 as well as the 3rd and 4th electrodes 27 and 28 on the inside and outside surface thereof. The element 22 is connected to an electric power source 41 for the heating element, the pump working cell to a pump working power source 42 and the sensor working cell to a means 43 for detecting voltage, respectively. The electrode 28 is brought into contact with the gas to be measured and the inflow rate of the gaseous oxygen to the electrode 27 when the power source 42 is operated is controlled by the electrode 24. The sepn. of the electrodes 25, 26 and the electrodes 27, 28 is thus made possible.
