USE:Tricyanovinyl coloring matter of brilliant magenta which is highly soluble in a solvent, forms no crystals on a transfer sheet, and is used in sublimation-type thermal transfer recording. PREPARATION:An aniline compound of formula II and tetracyanoethylene are reacted in a solvent such as N,N-dimethylformamide.
