PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage and clogging of paper due to skew by allowing the sheet paper to be certainly pressed in the longitudinal direction of a paper feeding roller by individually pressing a plurality of pressing apparatuses installed at the opposed position to the paper feeding roller, onto the roller. CONSTITUTION:When the suspension of feeding of sheet paper 12 is detected by a paper switch 30 when a power source is turned ON, a solenoid 26 is excited, and an idler plate 22 is attracted by the solenoid 26, and a pressing member 21 is swung in the direction X, and the pressing plate 21a is compulsorily separated from a paper feeding roller 25, and a feeding roller 13 transports the uppermost sheet paper 12 to the paper feeding roller 25. When the switch 30 is turned-ON, the roller 13 stops, and the sheet paper 12 stops on the pressing plate 21a, and the solenoid 26 is released. Therefore, the idler plate 22 is released from the attraction by the solenoid 26, and the pressing member 21 is released from the plate 22, and each pressing member 21 is urged by each coil spring 27 and swung in the opposite direction, and presses the sheet paper 12 onto the paper feeding roller 25. Therefore, the skew of the sheet paper can be prevented. |
