PURPOSE:To prepare a decorative board showing jewel like color tone and extremely suitable for use in accessories, by a method wherein a resin paint is allowed to fill a dish shaped container or mold and, after curing, a resin paint having a different color is allowed to further fill said container or mold and this operation is successively repeated to obtain a desired thickness. CONSTITUTION:A blue resin paint 2, which is prepared by kneading pigment and a curing agent with an epoxy resin being a main material, is allowed to fill a dish shaped container 1 and, after curing, a light blue resin paint 3 comprising the same components as the resin paint 2 is allowed to fill said container 1 so as to cover the resin paint 2. After curing, a green resin paint 4 comprising the same components as the resin paint 2 is allowed to fill said container 1 so as to cover the resin paint 3 to be cured and this operation is successively repeated to obtain a required thickness. Then, the molded one is detached from the container 1 and cut to a required shape to form a plate shaped decorative material wherein various color layers are laminated. By this method, the decorative material, wherein various color layers are laminated, can be prepared easily and inexpensively and, when it is cut into a required shape and polished, it shows jewel like color tone and suitably used as accessories such as the frame of a pair of spectacles or a pendant. |
