PURPOSE:To perform reflective printing of characters, pictures or the like speedily and easily, by a method wherein a silk screen plate printed with pictures or the like is produced, the pictures are printed on a fabric by using the plate, and before the ink used in the printing is dried, a reflective material such as particulate beads is scattered onto the ink, followed by drying. CONSTITUTION:The silk screen plate printed with pictures or the like is produced, while a fabric is undercoated. Then, the pictures or the like are printed on the fabric in an ink or the like, or are printed in a powder of gold or silver. Before the images printed in the white, silver or other colored ink are dried, particulate beads of a material capable of refracting light are scattered onto the printed images, followed by drying. Alternatively, after the ink is dried, a transparent clear resin with the beads mixed therein is applied to the printed images by manual printing while using a silk screen plate having the same pattern as that of the printed images, followed by drying. Accordingly, pictures or characters can be printed directly on a shirt or a jumper without heating or applying a pressure, and can be printed even on an acrylic fabric which starts melting at a temperature of 60 deg.C. |
