CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL CONSISTING OF AL FOIL OR THIN SHEET AND STEEL SHEET

PURPOSE:To prevent wrinkling of Al foil or thin sheet to be press-stuck by heating preliminarily the Al foil or thin sheet which is supplied to hot rolls kept at a high temp. and is to be superposed on a prescribed steel sheet by a heating source. CONSTITUTION:The steel sheet 2 is preheated by a preheating furnace 6 and is continuously supplied to the hot rolls 10. On the other hand, the Al foil 4 applied with a prescribed adhesive agent on one surface to be joined is also continuously let off from an Al foil coil 8 and is supplied to the hot rolls 10 after the surface side for the adhesive agent is heated by a heater 12. The press-stuck laminate of the sheet 2 and the foil 4 which are press-stuck by the rolls 10 is conducted to cooling rolls 14 by which the laminate is cooled and is thoroughly adhered. The steel sheet-Al foil composite plate having high quality is thus obtd.
