TIRE TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:The titled composition improved in grip performances, steering stability performances, and low-temperature properties, comprising solution-polymerized SBR, emulsion-polymerized SBR, natural rubber, synthetic polyisoprene rubber or butadiene rubber. CONSTITUTION:A rubber composition comprising (A) 15-50pts.wt. solution-polymerized SBR having an intrinsic viscosity in a toluene solution at 30 deg.C, of 1.7- 3.0, a bound styrene content of 27-40%, a vinyl content of the butadiene portion of 37-45%, and a rate of polymer chains modified with a tri- or tetrafunctional coupling agent of 40-65wt% with (B) 50-85pts.wt. at least one rubber selected from among emulsion-polymerized SBR, natural rubber, synthetic polyisoprene rubber and butadiene rubber, (C) at least one plasticizer selected from among sebacate esters, adipate esters, and fatty acid esters, and (D) carbon black having an average particle diameter <=30mu. The carbon black is used in an amount of, preferably, 40-80pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. rubber.
