PURPOSE:To make the prevention of oblique printing possible by a simple low cost structure, by inclining the bottom surface of an upside deflecting electrode in the direction at a right angle to the flying direction of an ink drop. CONSTITUTION:The bottom surface of an upside deflecting electrode 2 is inclined in the direction perpendicular to the flying direction of an ink drop. Therefore, the component in the horizontal direction normal to the flying direction of the ink drop is generated in the electric field between the upside and downside deflecting electrodes. Thereby, the force deflecting the ink drop in the horizontal direction is operated and the oblique printing can be corrected by this horizontal deflecting force. In the case where the bottom surface of the upside deflecting electrode 2 is composed of the two inclined surfaces 2a, 2b, when those inclined surfaces 2a, 2b are made of asymmetric projected shape (l1>l2), a better result can be obtained by comparing it with the result to be obtained in the case of symmetric projected shape (l1=l2). |
