PURPOSE:To lower the level of noise lightening the hammer, by a method wherein in the hammering device in which recording is carried out by impacting a recording paper with a hammer, the hammer is made to be of hollow state and the hollow part is filled with vibration absorber. CONSTITUTION:In a hammering device 5, a plunger 8 is, in a transfer free state, guided in the direction A. Further, a cylindrically notched hole 8a is formed in the center of this plunger 8 and this hole 8 is filled with vibration absorber 16 such as blowing styrol or the like. In the hammering device composed thus, because the hollowed hole 8a is filled with vibration absorber 16, the vibration and the shock sound which are generated when the plunger 8 strikes a platen 1, and otherwise when it collides with a stopper 12 are absorbed and the noise level is remarkably lowered. |
