<p>PURPOSE:To correct the variance in the parallel moving characteristic in the graph for a relative humidity-electric resistance characteristic by immersing a moisture sensitive element into a specific soln., drying the element and increasing slightly the concn. of the electric charge carrier of a moisture sensitive thick film layer thereby adjusting the specific resistance value thereof so as to decrease the same. CONSTITUTION:A pair of comb-tooth-shaped electrodes 2,3 are formed at a specified interval on a substrate 1 made of ceramics, etc. having an electrical insulating characteristic and the moisture sensitive thick film layer 4 is formed on the electrodes 2, 3 and between the electrodes. The moisture sensitive element is immersed into a sodium phosphomolybdate soln. and is dried to increase slightly the concn. of the electric charge carrier of the layer 4 and to decrease the specific resistance value thereof by which the resistance value characteristic is adjusted so as to be approximated to a standard characteristic if the resistance value characteristic of the moisture sensitive element in the graph for the relative humidity-resistance value characteristic is higher than the standard characteristic value.</p> |
