PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of bending and transverse creases at the top edge and permit the taken-up with an angle at the top edge by installing an introducing apparatus which rises and lowers through the turning from the lower part of a taking-up conveyor and press-holding the top edge of a taken-up article onto the outer peripheral surface of the taking-up roll. CONSTITUTION:The captioned apparatus detects that the top edge of a taken-up article W reaches a prescribed position, and a taking-up roll 2 lowers and contacts with a conveyor 1, and turns in a certain direction. When the top edge of the taken-up article W reaches the vicinity of the roll 2 and a pressing roll 7b, a rotary cylinder revolves, and an introducing apparatus 5 turns around the roll 7b, and a belt 8 is brought into contact in slidable ways onto the outer peripheral surface 2a, and then the belt 8 revolves with the roll 2 in the fixed direction. When the top edge of the taken-up article W is nipped between the roll 2a and the belt 8, the article is taken-up, introduced along the outer peripheral surface 2a, and in taking-up operation, a linear W1 is supplied from a liner feeding apparatus 3, and nipped between the article W, and taking-up operation is carried-out successively without generating bending and transverse creases at the top edge, even if an angle is formed at the top edge. |
