The machine comprises a head 350 simultaneously ensuring centring of the bottle 10 and the placing of a label 20 around the valve 11. A feed device 300 makes it possible to withdraw an individual label from a batch 311 and to place it 20d on a plate 340 in order to enable it to be seized via the head. The machine advantageously also comprises a crimping tool 450 ensuring the placing of a cap 30a on the bottle which has been previously centred by the head for centring and for placing the label.
