The device has an automatic control for a reverse ancillary drive for the generator ice. An important feature is that any surplus energy is converted into current and is used to charge the battery which may be carried. In the flywheel body there are weights, radially disposed, or free pistons, and these are capable of an oscillatory motion which is controlled electromagnetically mainly, depending on the work load duration, by means of radial pulses, so that there is natural resonance. The circuit, starting from the left, has the D.C. unit with a control thyristor and current regulator, fed by the rpm unit and a nominal value of the rpm. The D.C. unit sends its current to the D.C. motor and the flywheel body with its own D.C. control can be seen. This D.C. unit is the source of the controlling pulses. |
