PURPOSE:To facilitate loading operation to the part nearer the operator by equipping a vertically turning tip boom, designed with steps downward from the root boom, with a rising device, by installing a conveyor at each of these booms, and thereby allowing the booms to dodge obstacles. CONSTITUTION:Tip boom 1a is supported by No.1 rising device while a root boom 1b by No.2 rising device. At the actual end of the root boom 1b with capability of turning vertically, the tip boom 1a is mounted with capability of turning vertically in such an arrangement as stepped downward A. Belt conveyors 2a, 2b are installed at the booms 1a, 1b. In case loading is made in a position farther from the operator, robes 8a, 8b are paid off to put the booms 1a, 1b level, and the cargo is transferred from the conveyor 2b to 2a, and released when sent to the foremost end of the boom 1a. In case the boom 1a moves over an obstacle, only the boom 1a is turned upward to provide a space B for dropping of the cargo, and only the conveyor 2b is driven, and the cargo is dropped through the space B. |
