PURPOSE:To prevent the clogging and breakage of an original copy when said original copy is pulled-out, by revolving a driving roller reversely by the output of a pulling-out detecting means for detecting the pulling-out of the original copy in the reverse direction to the feeding direction. CONSTITUTION:When an operator detects the skew of an original copy and the original copy PP is pulled in the direction of arrow A1, in the state where the original copy stops at a reading preparation position, a driving roller 2 reversely revolves clockwise, and a sensor 9 is turned ON, and then a controller 15 sets a reversal signal into a direction control signal DD, and starts-up an operation permission signal ED. Therefore, the driving rollers 2 and 3 are driven clockwise, and the original copy PP is transported in the direction of arrow A2. This state lasts until the rear edge of the original copy PP passes through a sensor 7, and when the sensor 7 is turned ON, the controller 15 stops a stepping motor 1. When the original copy PP which is in the stop state at the reading preparation position and interposed between the driving and a trailing rollers is to be pulled- out, the original copy PP is automatically discharged towards the operator. |
